Remembrance

FROM the nationally televised event in Whitehall to the smallest village, people gathered on Sunday, 8 November, to pay their respects to the fallen of the two world wars.

Those in Pennal were no different and, despite the inclement weather, a healthy number of residents came together to venerate those lost at the village’s small war memorial, where the words “we will remember them” again assumed greater resonance.
