A DANGEROUS driver has been branded a “silly billy” after attempting to drive on icy roads with a snow-laden windscreen.

Following the latest snowfall on Thursday, North Wales Police Roads Unit were shocked to see a van driving in Bryncir with over two-thirds of the window covered in thick snow.

With just a tiny window of clear glass to peer through, the driver’s view was severely impeded.

Writing on social media, the roads policing unit commented: “OK, so who thinks it’s acceptable to drive like this?

“Remember to fully clear your windscreen of snow and ice before you set off.

“This picture is an example of what NOT to do.”
