Plaid Cymru have retained their constituency member seats in the Senedd across the Mid and North Wales region.

Elin Jones was the victor in Ceredigion for a sixth election in a row; she thanked the people of Ceredigion for electing her once again.

After winning the seat in Dwyfor Meirionnydd, Mabon ap Gwynfor said it was "a huge honour" to be elected.

Meanwhile, to the north in Arfon, Sian Gwenllian will continue as MS.

And in Carmarthen East & Dinefwr, which includes the likes of Newcastle Emlyn and Llanybydder, Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price was declared the winner.

There was also no change in Montgomeryshire as Russell George secured his third victory, increasing his majority from 3,339 to 7,528.

With constituency members decided, attention turns to the regional seats.

Four Members of the Senedd will be elected for each of the regions: North Wales, Mid and West Wales, South Wales West, South Wales Central, and South Wales East.
