PLAID Cymru have gained the Ceredigion seat from the Liberal Democrats by a margin of just 104 votes.
Ben Lake, who became the youngest MP in Plaid history at the age of 24, received 11,623 votes to Mark Williams’ 11,519.
The full result was as follows: Davis (Con) 7,307, Ham (Green) 542, Harrison (UKIP) 602, Lake (PC) 11,623, Mulholland (Lab) 8,017, Williams (Lib) 11,519.
Elsewhere, the Conservatives’ Glyn Davies was re-elected in Montgomeryshire, as was Plaid Cymru’s Jonathan Edwards in Carmarthen East & Dinefwr.
