THE dispute between Aberaeron town councillors and Ceredigion County Council planning chiefs shows no sign of abating.
Aberaeron councillors have complained they never saw revised plans for an extension to a house in a conservation zone at historic Vulcan Terrace which was approved by county council officers.
County Hall maintain there is no legal requirement to consult when a scheme is amended during the course of an application.
“I think we should refer this to the Ombudsman,” Cllr Elizabeth Evans told colleagues.
“We are statutory consultees and the Ombudsman needs to know that we have been ignored.
“The plans that were approved were completely different to the originals."
