FESTIVAL NO 6 has scooped the award for the ‘Best Small Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards for the second year in a row.
The festival, which is held at Portmeirion, also took the Best Brand Activation award.
This year the festival sold out its 15,000 capacity since the first time it began back in 2012.
Festival goers were treated to performances from Grace Jones, Catfish and the Bottlemen, James Morrison, Belle & Sebastian, Black Grape, James and Mark Ronson also performed a DJ set.
Festival favourites such as the Welsh male voice choir, Cor y Brythoniaid, returned to perform to the huge crowds. Actor and comedian Steve Coogan was also in attendance and took part in a Q&A session.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “A huge thanks to everyone who voted for us this year and everyone who has supported us since the beginning. No 6 really is a festival like no other, and the audience play a huge part in creating such a unique experience.”
