Madam,

Re Plaid Cymru’s election candidates. I feel it was unwise and unjust for Dafydd Wigley and Elfyn Llwyd to declare beforehand who they support in selecting a Plaid Cymru candidate for the next Welsh Assembly elections.

Surely the whole point of holding hustings is for all members to have an opportunity to hear and question each candidate and then make up their mind? Dafydd and Elfyn’s premature declaration seems to infer that we ordinary members are incapable of making this democratic decision.
