PUPILS and staff of Llanidloes High School have elected prefects for the current school year.

They are as follows: Head girl, Lowri Lewis; head boy, Alex Jones; deputy head girls, Elin Evans and Florence Turley; deputy head boys, James Davies and Huw Lewis.

Pupils were nominated for their excellent contributions to the school throughout their time at the school as pupils in addition to high levels of attendance and academic work. Staff congratulated them all on their achievement and wished them well in their roles for the coming year.
