Madam,
I completely agree with the letter last week that mentioned the road improvement at Dyfi Bridge - ‘Proposed route is bonkers’.
There has never been any consultation with businesses in southern Gwynedd, who often employ people from Machynlleth.
The railway bridge at Machynlleth is a significant barrier to north/south trade as it restricts the height of lorries.
Also in the news
Machynlleth suffers from considerable congestion at times at the town clock junction and if the through traffic was on proper bypass Machynlleth would become a much easier place to shop and conduct business, with less congestion and traffic chaos.
Yours etc,
Peter Bottoms,
Pantperthog
Machynlleth.
