Re: concerns over night-time ambulance cover, last week. The idea that these towns may have inadequate cover for any emergency at night is diabolical.
These towns are prime holiday destinations and could at anytime be faced with a grave situation - and a terrible tragedy. People waiting for an ambulance could be facing a life-threatening situation. If you for instance have a heart attack victim, or a person going into shock because of an allergy, they need help in minutes to have a chance at surviving.
The ambulance service needs to recruit more paramedics as a matter of emergency before a predicted emergency happens.
• The Snowdonia National Park’s ruling giving planning permission for an incinerator at Llanbedr, seems to have ignored concerns by locals for the community.
Why oh why was this ruling passed? These people have to live here and this decision should not have gone against what they feel.
In Wales there are more remote places that are not so populated. The authorities need to think more of the consequences of their rulings which will affect future generations for years to come.
I implore them to think again.
PS: I’m overjoyed that the Cambrian News have acted to help restore reasonable car park charges to Harlech.
Thank you.
