Criccieth RNLI has come to the rescue of a broken down boat.

Criccieth’s Atlantic 85 class lifeboat, Doris Joan, launched at 11.05am on Thursday, 20 April, following a tasking from HM Coastguard to go to the aid of a 15ft speedboat which had broken down one mile offshore of Mochras Point.

The speedboat, with two people on board, was towed by the lifeboat back to Mochras and handed over to the care of Barmouth Coastguard.
