SANTA will spend five hours spreading Christmas cheer and bringing gifts to the children of Penparcau tomorrow.

Penparcau Community Forum has released the itinerary of Santa’s Sleigh Ride, with Santa visiting 26 streets across Penparcau between 4pm and 9pm.

Bryn Jones, co-ordinator of PCF, said: “Penparcau Community Forum is really looking forward to this year’s Santa Sleigh Ride event around the village.

“Last year’s event went down a treat with all the young children coming out of the houses to see Santa in all his glory and receive a little gift from Santa Claus.”

Santa will take the following route: Bryn Ystwyth; Llwyn yr Eos; Maes Crugiau; Cae Job; Parc Dinas; Heol Ystrad; Maes Heli; Heol y Garth; Heol Nanteos; Heol y Wern; Maes Maelor; Plas Helyg; 5th Avenue; 2nd Avenue; 1st Avenue; 3rd Avenue; 4th Avenue; 2nd Avenue; 5th Avenue; Rhyd y Bont; Min y Ddol; Tyn y Fron; Gwel Afon; Penybont Flats; Heol Dinas; and Garth Dinas before returning to PCF.

On Saturday, 5 December, there will be a children’s party at the community centre between 2pm and 4.30pm followed by the switching on of the Christmas lights, and Santa will return for the Christmas fair and Santa’s grotto between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, 12 December.
