A weather warning has been issued for snow and ice.
The yellow weather warning comes into effect from 10pm tonight for a large area of Wales, including Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Powys.
The Met Office said wintry showers may lead to some travel disruption and we can expect roads and railways to be affected with longer journey times, some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces and, probably, some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
“Wintry showers persisting through the night onwards into Tuesday morning accompanied by windy conditions will lead to patchy accumulations of 2 to 4 cm of snow in some places, mainly inland and on hills,” a Met Office spokesperson said.
The warning is in place from 10pm tonight until 10am tomorrow morning.
