The Teifi Valley Vintage Preservation Society recently held its annual presentation evening at Emlyn Cafe, Tanygroes.

The result of another very successful vintage show allowed the committee and members of the society the pleasure of presenting cheques amounting to a total of £5,500 to a number of local charities and groups.

The beneficiaries this year were: Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales, £1,700; Blood Bikes Wales, £1,700, The Wales Air Ambulance, £1,000; Troedyraur YFC, £600; and £500 went to Helen Jones who completed the London Marathon in support of Meningitis UK.

Members of the society would like to thank landowners, sponsors, exhibitors and the public who attended the event for their continued support which made it possible for these donations to be made.
