A Dolgellau student has tested positive for Covid-19.

Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor has confirmed that a learner at its Dolgellau campus has the coronavirus.

A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a learner who attends our Dolgellau campus has tested positive for coronavirus. The learner has been advised by Test, Trace and Protect to self-isolate, and the Dolgellau campus remains open for all other learners.

“The health and safety of our learners and staff are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to implement the necessary measures to minimise any risk of infection across all college campuses.”
