Madam,

On behalf of St Cynllo’s Church, Llangynllo, Coed-y-Bryn, the parochial church council would like to thank all who donated to our church fundraiser and who, despite the inclement weather, managed to attend and enjoy our Cherishing Churchyard day at the church on Saturday, 15 June.

We would especially like to thank those who donated in one way or another but who could not attend.

However we also have to apologise to all those who came to hear the talk on ‘Taxus Sanctus’ - the Sacred Yew, but who were disappointed on having to leave when our speaker was unavoidably delayed in Llandeilo so that her talk could not be given until much later that afternoon. To those who waited, I’m sure you will agree that it was well worth the wait.

Janis Fry has assured us however, that she will return at a later date to repeat her talk, and on our website www.stcynlloschurch.co.uk you will find further details on when that might be, of the talk she gave on Saturday, plus pictures of the day’s event.

To everybody on whom our small church relies for support of any kind, diolch yn fawr and thank you.
