A Porthmadog toddler is helping clean up the town.
Three-year-old Casi Rhys Jones is a Little Miss Natural Beauty Wales 2019 finalist and has been helping Porthmadog councillor Nia Jeffreys tackle dog poo problems at a local beauty spot in the town by providing free dog waste bags.
Casi said: “My Mam helped me make the dog poo bag dispenser out of a plastic bottle and Cllr Jeffreys helped me make the bilingual sign. I hope people use the free bags.”
Cllr Jeffreys added: “Thank you Casi for all the good work you do in our community. Sadly dog waste is a long term problem on Cob Crwn in Porthmadog - new bigger bins have been put in and new signs designed by pupils from Ysgol Eifion Wyn - with Casi’s free bags there is no excuse for dog walkers not to pick up after their dogs anymore.”
