DOLGELLAU got into the festive spirit on Friday with its annual late-night shopping event and Christmas lights switch-on.

Maisie Gunton and Awel Taylor were given the honour of turning on the town’s Christmas lights as Batala Bermo and Côr Bro Meirion entertained shoppers in the town square.
