Madam,

As initiator of twinning between Kronberg and Aberystwyth, I would like to address my many friends and your readers and wish them a healthy and happy new year.

After 30 years visiting Penglais on school exchanges and 20 years of visiting Kronberg’s twin town annually, “Aber” has become my second home town. This outgoing year confirmed the very good relationship between the two towns when Kronberg opened “Aber Roundabout” in summer and we attended the opening of “Kronberg Park” in Aberystwyth in September. The friendship between people of the two towns is regularly shown by visits to Kronberg Christmas Market by our Welsh friends and our visits to Aberystwyth in the summer.
