The council intends to turn the old Boots chemist into a museum using grants (taxpayers’ money) when they have the ideal building in the old town hall. It would be the perfect place. The old Boots chemist, which is a shop, should be sold or let. How do the council manage to find the money under the guise of grants but still put up the council tax?
