Madam,

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all the Ceredigion readers who have participated over the year in helping anyone with cancer.

Since becoming a volunteer in the Macmillan Hub in Bronglais Hospital I have been impressed by the way Ceredigion is working towards making sure that there is no-one who has had cancer and has not had help if they needed it.

Macmillan Cancer Support and Hywel Dda University Health Board have worked together to develop a cancer information and support service which offers everyone affected by cancer high-quality information and individual support.

I appreciate all those who have also fundraised throughout Ceredigion this year for Macmillan to make this possible.

We raise a lot of money for this excellent cause but we spend far more in Ceredigion than we raise and so hopefully next year we will raise even more.

This pays for the wide-ranging services Macmillan provide for those living with cancer, their family and friends.
