Further goals from Ashley New on 25 and Griffiths on 32 saw the visitors race into a 3-0 lead just past the half hour.
For a short period the Quarrymen looked set for a defeat, but Iwan Jones converted the first of his three penalties on 37 minutes, and goals from Sion Roberts and Bryn Humphreys made it 3-3 at the interval.
Just two minutes into the second half, Humphreys put the hosts ahead, and Iwan Jones converted his second penalty on 55 minutes for a 5-3 lead.
Liam Smith pulled one back for the visitors, but within minutes Iwan Jones made it a hat-trick of spot kicks for a 6-4 lead.
Smith was again on target on 70 minutes, but Sion Roberts restored the two goal lead three minutes later, and although Smith made it 7-6 in the closing minutes, to complete his hat-trick, Blaenau held on to win.
The win moved the Amateurs a point clear of Llannerchymed, who are now second-from-bottom, after their match with Mochdre Sports was called off.
Glan Conwy maintained their charge for the title as Shammed Ahmed’s goal on 43 minutes earned a 1-0 win over Llannefydd, to remain 19 points clear.
