FFOSTRASOL maintained their perfect start to the MMP Central Wales League South season with an emphatic 8-1 victory over Bow Street Reserves at Troedyrhiw Park on Saturday.
Dafydd Phillips was the star of the show, racing to a hat-trick inside 34 minutes, while Tomos Rogers added a fourth before half-time.
The league leaders showed no signs of easing off after the break as substitutes Meredydd Derbyshire (2), Iolo Thomas and Caden Briddon complete the rout.
Felinfach claimed an important 3-1 win over Penrhyncoch Reserves at Cae Baker. Despite dominating the first half, the hosts could not make the breakthrough until substitute Osian Kersey won a penalty, which Joe Jenkins converted shortly after the restart.
The Roosters levelled through an Emyr Jones free-kick on 75 minutes, but Kersey again proved the catalyst by winning a second penalty, which Jenkins converted seven minutes later. New signing Ross Diamond wrapped up the victory late on.
Elsewhere, first-half goals from Osian Simpson-Jones and Sion Evans earned Llanilar a 2-1 victory over Tregaron Turfs, who replied through Callum Lane.
Rhayader also picked up three points with a 3-1 home win over Penparcau. Samuel Rees opened the scoring from a free-kick before Jaelan Brown levelled with a stunning strike into the top corner after being set up by Harley Lawton. However, goals from Bradley Goodwin and Oscar Davies secured victory for the hosts.
