ABERYSTWYTH Town have signed wingman Ryan Wade, who was without a club after spending last season with Welsh Premier rivals Bala Town.
The 29-year-old former Skelmersdale United, Vauxhall Motors, Burscough, Runcorn Town, Prescot Cables and Northwich Victoria player signed for Airbus UK Broughton in June 2012.
He spent four very successful seasons with the Wingmakers, before parting company with the club in June 2016 and signing for league rivals Bangor City.
Wade only stayed for a few weeks at Nantporth, before joining the Lakesiders, where he scored 25 goals from his 104 (+25) Welsh Premier appearances to date, also making two full and five substitute appearances in Europa League ties.
"We are delighted to announce the signing of one of Welsh Premier League’s standout wingers," said a club statement.
"Ryan, who is known as Keyo, became one of the most admired players in the league during four seasons at Airbus.
"It coincided with the Broughton side’s peak in domestic football terms, and he represented them six times in the UEFA Europa League between 2013-5.
"Having made a total of 129 WPL appearances, scoring 25 goals over five hugely successful seasons he is looking forward to more success at Aber
"He goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game away at Newtown, and will wear his customary number 14 shirt for Aberystwyth this season."
Meanwhile Aberystwyth Town have confirmed the departure of midfielder Christian Langos.
Langos joined the Club in August 2017 and appeared as a trialist in pre-season,before becoming the club’s first Congolese player in his one Welsh Premier appearance, as a sub at Barry.
He had previously represented Bangor City and Rhyl, having started out with Marine, before joining manager Neville Powell at Bangor in 2015/6.
The 23 year old winger has already made 48 Welsh Premier League appearances.
