THE howling wind and incessant rain kept many away from Cardigan RFC’s Division Three A fixture against Pembroke, but the Gollop Stand faithful were treated to an entertaining try feast that belied the difficult slippery conditions.

There was very little in this game going into the final few minutes, with only two points separating the sides, but a late charge by the Cardis saw them go over for two superb tries for a bonus point 29-15 win.

This weekend Cardigan travel to face title rivals Milford for a top of the table clash, and coach Colin Horscroft will be keen to make amends for an opening day defeat at the hands of the Mariners by two points.
