PARC Bryn Bach, Tredegar was the new venue for The Welsh Road Relay Team Events
Opportunities to run as a team are few and far between and this is why Sarn Helen were able to field 10 teams of eager runners in various age groups at this event.
Runners were as follows, Ollie George, Celt, Kris, Stephen Kenworthy, Wyn Evans, George Eadon, Geth ap Phyllip, Simon Hall, Dan Hooper, Dylan Davies, Kevin Jones, Carwyn Davies, David Casso-Davies, Kieran Gatland, Jamie Puetz, Simon Reed, Mike Davies, Richard Swift, Michael Lear, Nia Rees, Layla Omar-Davies, Sara Jones, Dee Jolly, Pam Carter, Emma Nurse, Delyth Crimes, Michelle Billing, Meinir Williams, Liz Pugh, Eirlys Evans and Kerry Irwin-Hall.
Despite the inclement weather all Sarn Helen runners posted great times with Simon, Dan and Dylan claiming the bronze medal in the M45 age group.
Berlin Half Marathon is one of the super six half marathons across Britain and Europe.
The Summers sisters Polly and Ceri took to the start line and both achieved PBs. Polly had a stunning run to finish in 1:19:12 with Ceri also having a fantastic race in 1:33:44.
Dylan Lewis took on a challenging race when he competed in the Llanbedr to Blaenavon Fell Race, a tough course taking in the three major peaks of The Black Mountains.
He had a fabulous run to finish 8th overall and 3rd M40 in a time of 2:29:57.
The San Dom 20 miler is a scenic out and back course along the Taff Trail with a few challenging undulations en route.
arah Puetz and Emma Richards chose to run the race whilst preparing for a marathon in a few weeks. Both had great races with Sarah finishing in 3:25:18 and Emma in 3:29:14.
