Established on 2 Feb 1998 by Alan Lewis and Chris Carter, AGEA quickly became known for its commitment to providing not only a one stop shop for superior appliances but also their exceptional product knowledge, customer service, and value for money.

The appliance store’s ground level displays an extensive product range, including washing machines, washer dryers, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cookers (induction, gas, and electric), range cookers, refrigerators, built-in appliances, small appliances (now including air fryers and air purifiers), fans and dehumidifiers, audio/visual electricals, and vacuum cleaners. The store’s upper level displays an extensive fireplace showroom.

Overall, the store has over 300 appliances on show – everything a home needs under one roof, with an additional warehouse containing a back-up of over 1,500 items of stock. 

Rooted in its Welsh heritage, AGEA prides itself on being a family-run business since day one. The business’ knowledgeable team members, who speak both English and Welsh, go the extra mile to serve the diverse needs of their community – even stepping in to liaise on a customer’s behalf where needed. This warm and inclusive environment is what keeps their clients coming back. 

Gareth, a team member, notes, “We can speak both Welsh and English, which can be helpful whenever there are customer queries or issues. Many of our customers have been shopping with us from the very beginning and have kept coming back to us over the years, which just shows how valued they feel.”
