The Wales YFC Eisteddfod, which attracted 840 competitors, was held at the Great Hall, Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
The event was hosted by the Meirionnydd Federation.
During the day members competed in a variety of competitions including singing, recitation and humorous items, also homework competitions including literacy, prose and art.
The competitions were held throughout the day and the overall winners were the Carmarthenshire Federation who took home the Mansel Charles Shield with 42 points.
Winning the Eisteddfod chair was Endaf Griffiths of Pontsian YFC. Endaf graduated from Aberystwyth University this year after studying Welsh.
He has now moved on to study an MPhil degree at Aberystwyth, researching the work of T Llew Jones.
Rhian Evans, from Felinfach YFC was the best individual in the Recitation Section and she took home the Wales YFC Cup.
The Denbighshire Farmers Union of Wales trophy for winning the homework section was won by Ceredigion YFC, with federation chairman Emyr Evans picking up the award.
Clynderwen YFC member Jessica Robinson won the Ardudwy Cup for being the best soloist in the music section and the Menter Iaith Sir Benfro Challenge Trophy, awarded to the best one voice party, was won by Pen-y-bont YFC, Carmarthenshire.
