A MAN was arrested in Bow Street on Saturday, after armed police attended an address in the village and found a handgun and an air rifle.

Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Police executed a warrant under the Firearms Act at a property in Cross Street, Bow Street, at around 2.30pm on Saturday, 25 July.

"At the property, officers found one handgun and an air rifle.

"A 70-year-old man, arrested in connection with a domestic incident, was later released."

Investigations are continuing, the police added.
