A MAN who was arrested following a collision on the A470 near Trawsfynydd has been released under investigation.
An arrest was made following a collision which occurred outside the entrance to Trawsfynydd Power Station on Tuesday night (29 June).
A woman who was taken to hospital following the incident remains in a "critical condition".
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "The 35-year-old man who was arrested following the road traffic collision on the A470 near Trawsfynydd on Tuesday night has been released under investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.
"The 28-year-old woman who was airlifted to hospital in Stoke remains in a critical condition."
Police said earlier that an 08 plate blue coloured Audi A3 was involved, and a local man had been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries through dangerous driving and driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said he was appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road between the village of Trawsfynydd and the entrance to the power station between 8.25pm and 8.35pm or may have dashcam footage that shows a blue 08 plate Audi A3 driving on that road prior to the collision to contact them.
