A CARDIGAN man will be sentenced later this month in crown court after admitting two counts of drug possession with intent to supply.
Jay Cockburn, of 2 Feidrfair, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 1 December.
The court heard that the 30-year-old was caught by police in Aberystwyth on 29 April this year in possession of 1,403 tablets of Diazepam - a class C drug - and 18.1 grams of cannabis.
He was charge with intent to supply the drugs.
Cockburn pleaded guilty to both charges.
A separate charge of possession with intent to supply 36 tablets of diazepam on the same day at Ponterwyd was withdrawn at the hearing.
Cockburn will be sentenced for the two offences at Swansea Crown Court on 15 December.
He was remanded on unconditional bail until that hearing date.
