FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a blaze at a pub near Aberystwyth this morning.
The fire broke out at the Farmers Arms at Llanfihangel y Creuddyn.
It is not known at this stage the extent of the damage or whether anyone was hurt.
The Farmers Arms is a country dining pub which has recently been taken over by Lewis and Caitlin Morse who last year organised a classic car run for their local school, village church and Wales Air Ambulance.
A spokesperson for Mid Wales Fire Service said they were first called at 7.26am to the two storey building.
The fire was in the roof space which was well alight when they arrived.
Three main jets were used, two breathing apparatus, a hydrant, roof ladder, four appliances and the aerial appliance attended.
They were still at the scene at 11am. It is believed the fire was caused accidentally.
