A DOLGELLAU man has been left in a serious condition following a hit and run incident on Sunday morning.
Shortly after 6.30am on Sunday, 11 March, a pedestrian was walking along the A470 towards Brithdir when he was struck by a vehicle, which then failed to stop.
The 24-year-old local was taken to hospital in Aberystwyth where he remains with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Sergeant Anja Macleod of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are appealing to the driver to make contact with us as soon as possible.
“Equally, anybody who may have seen the man walking along the A470 sometime between 3am and 6.30am, or who may have witnessed the collision should contact us to help with our investigation.”
