POLICE have launched an investigation after a motorcyclist died near Devil’s Bridge last weekend.

A 26-year-old man died and a 23-year-old female passenger was injured in a motorbike collision on the A4120 between Devil’s Bridge and Capel Seion at around 12.20pm on Sunday, 12 July.

A 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, who was riding pillion, were injured. Both were treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital.

The male rider sustained serious injuries and died in hospital on the afternoon of 15 July.

A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “His family have been informed and are being supported by local officers.

“An investigation is underway into the accident, which took place at around 12.20pm on the A4120.

“A number of members of the public stopped to assist the casualties and alert emergency services. Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision.
