A MAN has been arrested following the death of a woman in a collision between Cardigan and Llechryd on Saturday night.

Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and help with their investigation following the death of a 27-year-old woman.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said this evening: “Police investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman following a collision on the A484 between Cardigan and Llechryd last night (Saturday, 29 January) are appealing for witnesses.

“Officers are keen to speak to anyone who would have been on that route between 10pm and 11pm, or who may have relevant dashcam or doorbell footage.

“A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.”

The road was closed for several hours following the incident, but has now reopened.
