POLICE have launched an investigation after tools were stolen from a building site on New Year’s Day.
North Wales Police is seeking witnesses after tools were stolen from the site in Llwyn Du, Lôn Sarn Bach, near Abersoch.
Investigating officer Pc Bethan Widdicombe at Pwllheli Police Station said: “Sometime between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Monday, 1 January, a property on the site containing several tools was broken into and a number of tools stolen.
“From initial enquiries we are eager to trace and identify three men and a white Ford Transit van seen at the location at the time of the burglary.
“If anyone has any information or witnessed any suspicious behaviour or activity please contact police.
“It is worth reminding members of the public to be vigilant at all times and to contact the police immediately if you see any suspicious behaviour.”
