Two teenagers were taken to hospital in the early hours of Sunday, after a car collided with a property near Bow Street, and both caught fire.
At around 2.40am on Sunday, 6 September, emergency services were alerted after a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a house on the A487 north of Bow Street (pictured), which resulted in the car and house catching fire.
The two male occupants of the car, who were both 18, were taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police attended a single-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 2.40am on Sunday, 6 September on the A487 north of Bow Street.
“A silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a residential property causing both to catch fire. The occupants of the property were not injured. The two male occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment.”
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We responded with two emergency ambulances and two patients were transferred to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, for further treatment.”
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue said fire crews from Aberystwyth, Borth and Machynlleth attended and extinguished the blaze.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing, police said.
