A FIRE at a barn between Dolgoch and Abergynolwyn has been extinguished this evening after several hours.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called at 10.44am on Friday and sent six appliances to the scene.

The fire crews asked people living nearby to close windows and doors as a result of the blaze.

Photographer Erfyl Lloyd Davies was on the scene this evening and sent these images of the barn from the outside and inside.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
