It’s so sad that a peregrine falcon, protected by law, has been shot (Cambrian News, last week).
To think that someone could take aim at this beautiful bird and shoot is very sad and fills me with total anger. Let’s hope who ever did this gets their comeuppance.
These birds must be protected.I would like the laws to be much more severe, in dealing with this.
• I thought the church service for the Duke of Edinburgh, was very touching, and set in a beautiful church. I was sad to see the Queen sat alone. This pandemic does nothing for anyone’s feelings. The royals were dressed very sombrely which seem to add to the sadness.A touch of colour from their dress uniforms would have maybe lightened the blackness.
The songs by the three choir singers echoed in the church and were beautiful. The single piper was brilliant and a tune fit for a prince. And I broke completely when the Last Post was played...Oh for happier times.
