A CHARITY in Blaenau Ffestiniog has donated a substantial sum to a local day care centre.

The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, commonly referred to as the Buffs, collected £250 for the Blaenau Ffestiniog Day Care Centre in memory of one of their former members.The Buffs is a 200-year-old charitable order. In Blaenau Ffestiniog, a small group, the Maenofferen Lodge, collects each year for different charities.The Worthy Primo, R W Jones (pictured), presented a cheque for £250 to David Neil Jones and Katrin Jones, representatives of the Blaenau Ffestiniog Day Care Centre, in memory of George R Jones who was a loyal member of the Buffs Lodge last week.
