A MYNYTHO woman has been recognised as one of the most influential and inspirational people working in the housing sector in the UK.
Former Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd chair Claire Russell Griffiths has reached 24Housing magazine’s list of top 50 Power Players.
Claire was elected a member of CCG’s board four and a half years ago, and three years later she was the first tenant to be elected chair. Over the years she has played a key part in CCG decisions and developments.
She has recently been appointed to the new independent Regulatory Board for Wales, advising the Welsh Government on the performance of housing associations across Wales.
Following the appointment she has stepped down as chair of the board at CCG.
As a result an opportunity has arisen for other CCG tenants to become members of the housing association’s board. Nominations for new tenant members are open until 29 April.
