Empty shelves at a supermarket in Meirionnydd have been blamed on distribution issues.
Customers at the Co-op store in Tywyn have seen a number of shelves empty in recent weeks.
One reader, who asked to remain anonymous, took photographs of the empty shelves last Wednesday saying: “These were a view of the shelves today, but they are like this almost every day with no staff on the tills either.”
A Co-op spokesperson said: “We are sorry that we are running low on some products.
"Like many retailers, we are impacted by some patchy disruption to our deliveries and store operations, but we are working closely with our suppliers to get restocked quickly.”
The spokesperson added Co-op is recruiting up to 3,000 temporary colleagues to keep depots working to capacity and stores stocked.
