Three Aberystwyth takeaways have been warned to cover faces or face closure as health teams crack down on coronavirus measures in the wake of a spike in cases in Ceredigion.
G-One on North Parade, and Penguin Pizza and Hollywood Pizza on Pier Street have all been warned by Ceredigion council that their businesses may face closure if they “fail to take reasonable measures to provide or require the use of personal protective equipment and face coverings by persons working on their premises”.
All three have been served with Premises Improvement Notices and warned that “failure to comply with the notices can result in a premises closure notice being issued”.
The premises were issued with the notices following co-ordinated inspections by Dyfed-Powys Police and the Public Protection Team at Ceredigion County Council over the weekend.
The action follows similar enforcement action against two food premises in Cardigan on 18 November.
