My name is Michael Wright and I am now 74 years old and compiling details of my family that I can leave for my grandchildren.

I visited Aberystwyth many years ago in the late ’60s with my father to meet two uncles of mine.

One uncle, Leslie Wright, was the groundsman at the university, he had been a POW and had his hands damaged to stop him trying to escape. The other uncle was Douglas Wright, he was, I understand, the editor of the Cambrian News.

I have only one photo of them (pictured) and little information. In the photo, my uncles and I are on the far left.

I would be very happy if anyone could provide me with any information you have that you think would be of interest, and any photos that you may have.
