Pennyfarthing Appeal - Cancer Research Wales
ON THE Saturday of the Easter weekend at the Coracles in Cenarth, the annual raffle for the Pennyfarthing Appeal was drawn with the first prize of £100 being won by Darren Davies of the Coracles. He kindly donated the money back to the appeal. The second prize of £50 was won by Emma Kettle and the third prize of £25 was won by Keith Ladd of Cardigan. The evening’s costs amounted to only £75 due to the generosity of Darren Davies and the fact that the raffle tickets were sponsored by Robin’s Taxi of Cardigan. The kindness and support of those who purchased the raffles was much appreciated, organisers said. The next function organised by the Pennyfarthing Appeal will be the annual presentation of the collected money to Cancer Research Wales at their usual fund-raising night on 16 April.During the night there will be a short auction and room raffle.Entertainment will be provided by Huw Evans and all of this will again be held at the Coracles in Cenarth, by kind permission of Darren Davies. Everyone is welcome and food will be available on the night, to start at 7pm.
All money donated to Cancer Research Wales stays in Wales.
