A BOW STREET woman has cut her long hair to donate it to provide wigs for children suffering with cancer.
Charlotte Singh has also managed to raise £250 for the Little Princess Trust charity through donations and support at Caesar’s cafe in Aberystwyth where the 26-year-old works.
“I wanted to pass on strength to those children who have had to face unbelievable challenges,” Charlotte told the Cambrian News.
“By providing hair for a wig for a child who has cancer my hope is that they may receive a boost in confidence to help them through a difficult time.
“The team at Caesar’s have provided an overwhelming amount of help and support and in the space of a week raised our target of £250 for the charity.
“We would like to say a great big thank you to all the customers who jumped right on board with us.”
Charlotte had her locks cut at Beverley’s hair salon in Trefechan last Thursday.
The Little Princess Trust is a charity that supplies real hair wigs, free of charge, to children across the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair though cancer treatment and other illnesses.
