A MEIRIONYDD couple had a little extra reason to celebrate Christmas Day this year with the birth of their daughter.

Emilia Beth Doyle was born at 9.11am on Christmas Day at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth, weighing a healthy 8lbs and 6oz to parents Carys Jarvis and Paul Doyle from Abergynolwyn.

Emilia was the only baby born at Bronglais Hospital on Christmas Day.
