The branch held its annual general meeting on 5 November and the following officials were elected for the coming year.

President, Eleri Thomas; vice-president, Pat Slotboom; secretary, Bethan Davies; treasurer, Anne Davies; tea/raffle, Elizabeth Jones; MCS/press, Barbara Davies.

New president Eleri Thomas thanked the tellers from Pennant WI, Joan Williams and Glenys Edwards, and presented them with a small gift.

Special thanks were given to Ann Jones (WI chair of Federations of Wales committee) for her attendance and input to the evening.

Members then relaxed and enjoyed the refreshments which were supplied by members.

The guest speaker on 19 November is Ifor Thomas for an evening of the topic of film.

New members are welcome.
