The group had a Bring and Talk meeting in January and it was astonishing how interesting and varied the stories and the memories were, from Scott of the Antarctic to precious letters over 200 years old.

Plans were made to host the St David’s Day celebrations on 22 February, with speaker Iwan Llewellyn plus some rather scrumptious food.

Members also celebrated their president’s birthday by enjoying a deliciously sinful chocolate cake, made by her own fair hands.
