HISTORIAN and veteran Cardigan Castle volunteer Glen Johnson will be giving a series of four talks starting tomorrow (21 September) focusing on the restoration of the castle site.

Glen, who first became involved with the castle as a teenager in the 1980s, will be looking at the project from 2003 – the year the castle came into public ownership following an intensive local campaign.

His talk – entitled ‘Saving Cardigan Castle – the Nightmare and the Dream’ - will include images from his extensive collection and starts at 7.30pm in the tower room.

The talks are in advance of a new exhibition at the castle which will look at the 10-year restoration of the site using Glen’s archive photographs.
